iCarly: Fun Facts (Part 3)
41) The premiere of the second half of Season 2 aired almost a year after the Season 2 premiere; iSaw Him First.
42) According to iCarly creator Dan Schneider's blog, iCook ran over 6 minutes over the time limit. However, there wasn't an extended edition on the DVD.

44) Simon, who appeared as the boy who can squirt milk out of his eyes in iPilot, returns in iCarly Awards, where he wins an award.
45) According to iCarly creator Dan Schneider's blog, the script for a scene in iHave my Principals was quite different from how it wound up in the final script. Check it out!
46) Although iMove Out was only the seventh episode of this half of the season to air, it was the fifth-to-last episode of the season to be produced.
47) The laptop that Spencer is using when he looks at the picture of his new boat in iQuit iCarly is called the HP Touchsmart Tx2z.
48) The actor who played Fleck (Daven Wilson) first appeared in the 2008 TV Movie; Merry Christmas Drake and Josh, another program produced by Dan Schneider. Fleck is named after an iCarly writer; Matt Fleckenstein.
49) The special episode iSaved Your Life had the most views of any episode in iCarly history; 12.4 million views.
50) A special 30 minute extended version of iSaved Your Life aired on February 12th, 2010, and is only available on DVD and iTunes. However that airing only received 4.9 million views, 7.5 million less than the first airing.
51) The actor who played Ernie; Sam's dancing partner in iWas a Pageant Girl, was played by Lane Napper, who is the dialogue coach on the show, and, he went on to have a recurring role as Lane; the school counselor on Dan Schneider's new show; Victorious, in 2010. And, he also became the dialogue coach on Victorious.

54) iBloop, the blooper special with Miranda Cosgrove and Jerry Trainor feature footage of iWon't Cancel the Show, iBelieve in Bigfoot, and iPsycho before the episodes aired. However, the episode was produced as the last episode of the season.
55) In iWon't Cancel the Show, for the first and only time, Jennette McCurdy was absent due to getting her tonsils taken out. On the show, the reasoning for her absence was that she got arrested for "shoving a chili dog down a man's pants."
56) In iBelieve in Bigfoot, the hot dog shop known as "Robin's Wieners" was a shout out from the show's creator; Dan Schneider, to one of his supervising producers; Robin Wiener.

58) Daniella Monet, a main cast member of Dan Schneider's show; Victorious, made a cameo appearance as a party guest in the one-hour special; iPsycho.
59) In iPsycho, Gibby's little brother; Guppy, is played by Noah Munck's real life brother; Ethan Munck.
60) In iBeat the Heat, the actress who played Sabrina; Freddie's crush/Gibby's cousin also appeared in iTwins as an extra dancer at the Under 21 Dance Club.

100 Facts about iCarly: Part 2
21) Just like the premiere of iCarly, the Season 1 Finale aired as a back-to-back premiere, with the first episode being iWin a Date, followed by iHave a Lovesick Teacher.
22) The 90-minute TV Movie iGo to Japan was the first episode of the second season to be produced, yet it aired as the 5th/6th/7th episode. The season premiere; iSaw Him First was therefore the 4th episode of the season to be produced.
23) The second season consisted of 45 episodes, but was divided into two seasons on TV, with the first half holding 25 episodes and the second half holding 20.
24) James Maslow, who guest starred as Shane in the second season premiere; iSaw Him First, would go on to be the star of the boy band and television series; Big Time Rush.
25) The episode iSaw Him First came out 4 minutes more than the time limit, and the 27 minute extended version was put onto the Season 2 DVD.
26) Jessica Makinson, who portrayed Ms. Ackerman in the Season 1 finale episode; iHave a Lovesick Teacher, returned in the Season 2 episode iStage an Intervention, where she played the wife of a rich artist whom Spencer was working for.
27) In the Season 2 episode iOwe You, one of the customers at Chili My Bowl was played by Stephen Full, who later went on to voice the talking dog Stan on the Disney Channel comedy; Dog with a Blog.
28) In the TV Movie; iGo To Japan, Harry Shum Jr., who played Kyoko, went on to have a main role on the FOX music program; Glee. He is one of the four overall characters on iCarly who are on Glee, with Dot Marie-Jones appearing as a policewoman in iChristmas, Chord Overstreet appearing as a boy interested in Carly in iSpeed Date, and Jane Lynch, who had a very big guest role as Sam's mother; Pam, in the special; iSam's Mom.
29) Jim Pirri, who played the chef at Galini's Pie Shop in iPie, went on to have a recurring role as Tori and Trina Vega's father in Dan Schneider's new show; Victorious, which came to Nickelodeon in 2010.
30) The story-line for the iCarly Christmas episode iChristmas was a take-off of the Christmas movie; It's A Wonderful Life.
31) In iChristmas, for the first time, and the only time, Nevel and Mrs. Benson are seen together. The two of them have quite a lot of dialogue together.
32) In the episode iKiss, Carly says that she had her first kiss with a boy named Ben Huebscher. That is the name of one of the iCarly writers.
33) In the episode iRocked the Vote, the episode mentions a parody of the popular singing show on FOX; American Idol; America Sings. However, in a Season 1 episode, Carly mentioned the actual show, yet iCarly used a parody in this episode. Two things to notice about David Archuleta's appearance is that he is the second special guest star to appear on iCarly. Also, he claimed on his iCarly webcast appearance that he couldn't sing because he had a "sore throat" and it is unknown if that was the real reason. However, it was stated that he only had barely a day to be a part of the episode, so his limited time could hint the reason for him not singing on the show.
34) The woman who portrayed the store clerk in iRocked the Vote, Andrea Swain, later appeared as a World of Warlords fan in iStart a Fanwar.
35) In iMeet FRED, FRED (Lucas Cruikshank) is the third major guest star to appear in the series.
36) In iLook Alike, the doctor at the MMA Fight, Dr. Doty, was portrayed by George Doty IV, a crew member of iCarly.
37) In iGo Nuclear, Mr. Henning is portrayed by Andrew Hill Newman, a writer for iCarly.
38) The one-hour special iDate a Bad Boy was filmed as two separate episodes. The production code for the first part was 217, and the second half was 225. The episode was originally planned to air as two separate episodes, but didn't.
39) In iReunite with Missy, Carly's old best friend Missy was played by Miranda Cosgrove's real-life best friend; Haley Ramn.
40) Victoria Justice, who played Shelby Marx in the one-hour special; iFight Shelby Marx, went on to be the star of Dan Schneider's new show; Victorious, which came to Nickelodeon in 2010.

100 Fun Facts about iCarly: Part 1
1) Production for iCarly began in January of 2007.
2) The series was picked up for 13 episodes before the script was fully developed.
3) Dan Schneider's original script for the show was called Starstruck, a show where the main character Sam was cast in her favorite TV Show. Her best friends were Kira and Freddie.
4) The first episode of iCarly drew 4.1 million views.
5) In iPilot, and iPilot only, Nathan Kress wore platform shoes.
6) iPilot ran 4 minutes long, and the 27 minute extended edition was put onto the DVD. To see all of the extra footage, click here.
7) The series premiere was a back-two-back premiere on September 8, 2007. iPilot aired, followed by iWant more Viewers.
8) Gibby (played by Noah Munck) first appeared in iDream of Dance, and was originally only planned to appear in one episode. But Dan Schneider enjoyed him so much that he cast him for more episodes, and he eventually became a main cast member in 2010.
9) The fourth episode to air, iLike Jake, was the 2nd episode of iCarly to be produced.
10) Several crew members from the show, including Joe Catania and Arthur Gradstein have been mentioned in the show. Also, Dan Schneider's wife; Lisa Lillien is often mentioned, and she played a big role in helping Dan create iCarly. She also has a food blog called Hungry Girl, and has appeared on several cooking shows.
11) In the episode iWanna Stay with Spencer, Granddad Shay (played by Greg Mulvay) says that he is staying at the "Parker-Nichols Hotel." This refers to the mother in Drake and Josh, whose last name is "Parker-Nichols".
12) One of Dan Schneider's dear friends, Steve Molaro, helped him create iCarly, and is now an Executive Producer for The Big Bang Theory, one of the most successful shows on television today.
13) In the episode iRue the Day, the Plain White T's guest starred, and they are the first major guest stars to appear on iCarly.
14) Carly and Spencer's father is Colonel Steven Shay. He makes an appearance in the series finale; iGoodbye, and is played by David Chisum.
15) There are 109 episodes of iCarly, and without counting specials, there are 97.
16) All of the main cast members of iCarly except for Noah Munck have appeared on one of Dan Schneider's TV shows. Miranda Cosgrove and Jerry Trainor had roles on Drake and Josh, Jennette McCurdy guest starred on Zoey 101, and Nathan Kress guest starred on Drake and Josh; however, Dan cut his scenes out of the episode to save his big debut for iCarly. But, he can still be seen as an extra.
17) Around the time that Drake and Josh was coming to and end, Dan Schneider was planning to create a spin-off with Drake and Josh's sister Megan, played by Miranda Cosgrove.
18) Drake Bell and Josh Peck were rumored to guest star on iCarly, but this never happened. However, Drake Bell made a cameo in the Season 2 episode; iBloop, in which he called Carly Megan and asked where "Mom and Dad" were, referring to Drake, Josh, and Megan's parents.
19) Jonathan Goldstein, who played the father on Drake and Josh, became a writer for iCarly. However, he has only written a few episodes.
20) When Dan Schneider started writing the script for iCarly, he had a feeling that he would be casting Jennette McCurdy as Carly's aggressive best friend, remembering her work as the same type of character on Zoey 101.
